Winslow Village Welcomes New Residents!

Residents share their joy as they move into their new homes at Winslow Village.The apartments are part of a stylish two-story affordable housing complex located at 5926 Village Green Drive (adjacent to Panella Park) in Stockton.The brand new 40-unit subsidized rental structure located on a large, 1.6 acre site offers spacious 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments to low-income, disabled individuals.

Situated within a beautiful, gated and adaptive environment, Winslow Village offers on-site support services and a centrally located recreation center.

The City of Stockton supported the development of Winslow Village by providing a $992,000 loan funded by Home Investment Partnership Program and Community Development Block Grant monies in conjunction with Proposition 46
(the $2.1 billion California Housing Bond approved by voters in November of 2002.)

The project adds architectural interest to the neighborhood as well as providing much needed relief to the growing demand for affordable, specialized housing.
