Robert Bressani, Interim Director

Our mission is to help low to moderate income families live in decent, safe and sanitary homes while reaping the benefits of green building practices.

Housing Department

The City of Stockton Housing Department works closely with other agencies in facilitating the production and preservation of affordable housing, assisting in the development of suitable living environments, and expanding economic opportunities to low income families by providing them with financial assistance loans.

The Housing Department currently implements "green building"  practices in our rehabilitation and new construction projects. Elements of the "Build It Green" and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards will be used by the Housing Department to support the City of Stockton's overall Green Building Initiatives.
