EMPLOYMENT OF STOCKTON/SAN JOAQUIN SPORTS COMMISSION EMPLOYEE
SEC. 2-1301. ADOPTION:
This Part XIII is adopted pursuant to article X, section 1002 of the Charter
of the City of Stockton to prescribe the qualifications and conditions applicable
to the employment by the City of an employee of the Stockton/San Joaquin Sports
Commission, the functions of which the City of Stockton is assuming by agreement.
SEC. 2-1302. CLASSIFICATION:
The City Manager may employ a Stockton/San Joaquin Sports Commission employee
in any position which is excluded from the competitive service by operation
of section 2-006 of this chapter.
SEC. 2-1303. PHYSICAL EXAMINATION:
Employee shall be examined by the City Physician in accordance with City standards
applied to all original hire Employees.
SEC. 2-1304. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Any Employee shall comply with the educational requirements contained in the
applicable class specification at the time of employment.
SEC. 2-1305. SALARIES:
The City Manager shall designate the appropriate step in the City Salary Schedule
for each person employed pursuant to this part.
SEC. 2-1306. RATIFICATION:
The employment by the City Manager of any person in accordance with the provisions
of this Part but prior to the effective date of the ordinance adopting this
Part is hereby ratified.
