DIVING, SWIMMING, BATHING OR WADING IN DESIGNATED AREAS


SEC. 4-080. DIVING, SWIMMING, BATHING OR WADING IN DESIGNATED BODIES OF WATER — PROHIBITED:

It shall be unlawful for any person to dive, swim, wade or bathe in any lake, lagoon, pond, waterway or other body of water under the control of the City of Stockton which has been posted prohibiting such activity.
(Repealed and Added by Ordinance 027-97C.S. — Effective November 20, 1997) (Amended by Ordinance 2810-C.S. — Effective July 15, 1976)

SEC. 4-080.1. DIVING, SWIMMING, BATHING OR WADING NEAR ANY PUBLIC RAMP, PIER, ETC. — PROHIBITED:

It shall be unlawful for any person to dive, swim, wade or bathe within one hundred (100) feet of any public: vessel launching ramp, pier or pump within the City of Stockton at other than designated areas or locations.
(Added by Ordinance 2810-C.S. — Effective July 15, 1976)

SEC. 4-080.2. EXCEPTION — WATER SKIING:

Section 4-080 (Diving, Swimming, Bathing, or Wading in Designated Bodies of Water - Prohibited) shall not be applicable to any person or persons actually engaged in water skiing where such activity is otherwise permitted by law.
