Project Areas

The redevelopment process allows designated project areas to receive focused attention and financial investment to reverse deteriorating trends, create jobs, revitalize the business climate, rehabilitate and add to the housing stock, and gain active participation and investment by citizens that would likely not otherwise occur.

Stockton has four designated Redevelopment Project Areas, described in detail below.

• Midtown Stockton Redevelopment Project Area
• North Stockton Redevelopment Project Area
• South Stockton Redevelopment Project Area
• Waterfront Redevelopment Project Area
