Stockton City Attorney Submits Resignation
(Stockton, CA) - Stockton’s City Attorney Ren Nosky submitted his resignation today to become effective March 31, 2010. Nosky has been with the City of Stockton for almost 6 years, since August 2004. He has accepted a position with Downey Brand LLC, a law firm with offices in Stockton and Sacramento.
“I have had an amazing experience,” said Nosky. “But, it is time to do something else and let this Council choose their own City Attorney.”
Mayor Ann Johnston accepted the news of his resignation this afternoon. “It has been my pleasure to work with Mr. Nosky. I have the greatest respect for him, professionally and personally. His expertise and professionalism will be missed.”
Nosky stated that he and his family will continue to live in Stockton.
