Local Plumbing Contractors Invited to Participate in High Efficiency Toilet Install
(Stockton, CA) - The City of Stockton’s Water Conservation Program announces today the launch of a Direct Install Program of High Efficiency Toilets (HETs) to commercial, industrial and institutional customers within the City’s water service area and invites local plumbing contractors to participate in the program.
Cost for the hardware and installation is covered by the City’s Water Conservation Program and will replace older inefficient toilets with those using 1.28 gallons per flush. This program is open to all qualifying commercial, industrial and institutional customers within the City’s water utility service area.
If you are a local plumbing contractor whose business is located within the City of Stockton and are interested in participating in this program, you are encouraged to contact the City’s Water Conservation Program for insurance and program requirements to determine your eligibility to participate.
Plumbing contractors who agree to and meet the program requirements will be placed on a List of Approved Plumbing Contractors to be provided to interested, qualifying customers. The City will provide the list alphabetically, and will not recommend or endorse one plumbing contractor over another.
Participating plumbing contractors will be required to attend an informational meeting hosted by the City’s Water Conservation Program prior to being added to the list. Plumbing contractors will be contacted at a later date with meeting details.
Should you wish to be considered for participation in this program, please contact Sharene Gonzales, Water Conservation Coordinator at (209) 937-8041 or by e-mail at sharene.gonzales@ci.stockton.ca.us no later than March 15, 2010.
